Delight in the rich abundance of layered flowers and colorful plant life! This is truly a one of a kind painting with a delightful backstory:

While painting outdoors in summer one day, I explored using various brushes to create a range of leaf, petal, and flower shapes. With my brush in hand, dabbing paint into a flower petal, a hummingbird suddenly zoomed over to the painting! It hovered above the canvas, looked at the painting, turned its head to look at me, looked back at the painting, then back at me as it continued to hover in the air a few feet above my head. Then it zoomed off into the trees!

Perhaps hummingbird thought they were real flowers, enticing it in to taste sweet nectar? I like to think something about this painting spoke to hummingbird, who just had to come closer for a look!

When you take home this painting, you also receive the gift of the hummingbird who just had to see it.

19”x25” framed.
Acrylic on canvas.
